New Beginnings
"New Beginnings" is a support group for people going through the pain of separation and/divorce. It is a small (6-9 people) intimate group that creates a loving and nurturing environment for anyone broken by the experience of separation/divorce. This is an outreach ministry to the community and its goal is to help people heal from the pain they are experiencing in separation/divorce by pointing them to the only true Healer, Jesus. People who have attended this group in the past have formed life-long friendships with one another. This group is facilitated by Brian Cistola LCSW-R.
Bereavement Support
Our bereavement support group is for those who have lost loved ones and would like practical Biblical ways to navigate through the grief process. We are led by a licensed grief support counselor who has also served as a hospice chaplain. We use prayer, scripture and sharing to support each other. The group meets three Fridays a month in the church library from 7 to 8:30 PM. All are welcome.
