“Worship is more than ‘worship time’. It’s more than the best song sets. It’s everything we do, say, feel, hear, give, touch and see in God’s presence, the entire time we are together, and it’s about what we take with us out into the world beyond the walls... If we access God through all our bodies then worship is not just about singing. It’s about everything.”

Worship Teams & Praise Bands
Music in our blended worship service is typically led by a team of singers and instrumentalists. Ensembles vary from week to week. Band rehearsals are held Tuesday nights from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Other rehearsals are scheduled as needed. Each worship team meets on Sunday morning at least one hour before the service begins for a sound check and a complete run through of the music for the morning.

Adult Choir
This ministry meets Thursday nights at 7:30 PM during the fall and winter months to prepare music
for seasonal worship events. Rehearsals are held in the sanctuary. All are welcome to participate; no audition necessary!

Instrumentalists
There are many opportunities for instrumentalists to use their gifts in our blended worship services. Children, teens and adults are invited to help lead worship as they play their instruments for our Lord. Our Worship Arts Ministries welcome artists of all kinds. We desire to promote corporate worship through:

Vocal Soloists
Gifted singers from within our church family are invited to prepare solos for use during worship services.

Drama
Sketches have been used occasionally in our services to help illustrate the day’s theme, an entire
sermon series, or to bring a book of the Bible to life. Plays and pageants have been used for
evening outreach events as well as seasonal worship services.

Ushers and Greeters
These individuals provide a warm welcome to everyone who walks through our doors to attend worship services. They minister to the real needs of our visitors.

Technical Ministries
Volunteers serve in all our technical ministries, including sound, computer, video production,
lighting, etc.

Youth Praise Band
An extension of our student ministries, the Youth Praise Band is comprised of Senior High School
students and is led by one of our gifted adult musicians. Rehearsals are typically held on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM before the Senior High FUSION gathering begins at 7:30 PM. The FUSION
Band is one of our regular worship teams and leads worship once a month during the school year.

Youth Drama
An extension of our student ministries, the Youth Drama Ministry meets on Wednesday nights at
6:30 PM to prepare sketches for the Senior High FUSION gathering at 7:30 PM. These students
also participate in the larger drama events organized by the worship arts ministry.

Visual Arts & Design
This team creates sets on the sanctuary platform that complement the senior pastor’s sermon series and also highlight the important seasons of the church year.

Worship Arts Ministries for Children
Children in grades 2 – 6 are invited to participate in the worship life of our congregation by using the artistic gifts God has given them (in music, drama, and the visual arts). Every other year, a larger children’s theater project is taken on. Previous productions include THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE IN mARCH 2008, and THE MAGICIAN'S NEPHEW in March 2006. Both of these productions are by C. S. Lewis.
