Our story
In 1960, a group of Jersey locals prayed that God would bring a Biblically solid evangelical church to the northeastern region of New Jersey.
In 1961, that same group of young families began temporarily meeting at the Masonic Temple in Park Ridge until they raised what they needed to purchase 3 acres of farm land in Montvale, NJ.

In 1963, Montvale Evangelical Free Church opened it's doors and has been standing for the truth of God's Word ever since. What started with a dedicated group of 25 believers has led to hundreds of people finding, following, and pointing to Christ.
