Our story

In 1960, a group of Jersey locals prayed that God would bring a Biblically solid evangelical church to the northeastern region of New Jersey.​

In 1961, that same group of young families began temporarily meeting at the Masonic Temple in Park Ridge until they raised what they needed to purchase 3 acres of farm land in Montvale, NJ.​

In 1963, Montvale Evangelical Free Church opened it's doors and has been standing for the truth of God's Word ever since.​ What started with a dedicated group of 25 believers has led to hundreds of people finding, following, and pointing to Christ.

Values & Beliefs

Montvale Church exists to glorify God by being disciples who find, follow & point people to Christ.
